SPL Issues Commemorative Stamp for Flag Day
Saudi Post (SPL), in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, has issued a commemorative stamp valued at SAR3 to mark Flag Day, celebrated annually on March 11.
Flag Day reflects pride in national unity and the Kingdom’s deep historical roots. The Saudi flag symbolizes the values of monotheism, justice, strength, and prosperity, drawing its enduring significance from the long history of the Saudi state since its founding in 1727.
Commemorative stamps issued by SPL highlight major national events, including religious, cultural, artistic, and sporting occasions, as well as significant international events. Each stamp marks an important milestone or moment in Saudi history, making them a distinctive choice for collectors around the world.
