Saudi Post | SPL and New Murabba Development Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at providing advanced logistical and geospatial services and enablers. The agreement was signed by Eng. Rayan Al-Sharef, Vice President of Government & Corporate Sales at SPL, and Eng. Isa Al-Munif, Head of Project Management Office & Stakeholders at The New Murabba Development Company.
The MoU includes delivering advanced geospatial analytics solutions, as well as providing a customized addressing system for business operations, which contributes to reinforcing The New Murabba’s identity with national addresses and improving the accuracy of geographic data to support logistical operations and facilitate site access with greater efficiency. It also enhances site accessibility by improving geographical data through adjustments to Google Maps, which contributes to better user experience, streamlined logistics operations, and improved delivery and pickup efficiency.
Additionally, the agreement covers the provision of logistical services such as Third-Party Logistics (3PL), mail room and parcel services, which help in delivering integrated logistics solutions. The MoU also envisions expanding the network of postal parcel stations to support the services offered and improve the customer experience.
It is worth noting that The New Murabba is working to create a state-of-the-art downtown in Riyadh with global standards, where innovation and technology are combined with nature and sustainability. This effort contributes to the capital’s growth, improves the quality of life for its residents, and underscores the Kingdom’s leadership in urban development and sustainable growth.
