What is Phishing?

Phishing is an attempt to deceive people (by impersonating SPL identity) in order to persuade them to disclose their sensitive information such as ID numbers, passwords, or credit card details. This information is then used in illegal ways that may harm the individuals.

The below information will help you detect fraud attempts:

• SPL will never send you payment request via email.
• Be cautious of emails claiming to be from SPL, you can verify by checking the sender's domain (@SPLONLINE.com.sa)
• Be wary of emails urging immediate action.
• Avoid opening emails with suspicious attachments, particularly ZIP files.
• Beware of emails asking for login credentials, payment details, or sensitive information.
• Look out for typos, grammatical errors, or unusual content within emails, as these can indicate the unreliability of the message and the sender.

SMS (Phishing)

• Beware of messages with hidden sender information, often disguised under generic names, ambiguous content, and/or unexpected country prefixes.
• Verify the legitimacy of shipment information by cross-checking with your order details.
• Do not share the delivery code except when receiving the packages.
• For online payment, please pay via SPL website or SPL mobile app only.
