SPL Group, represented by its logistics arm Naqel Express, successfully completed—for the fourth consecutive year—the transportation of horses participating in the Saudi Cup championship, organized by the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia from 13 to 14 February 2026 at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Al-Janadriyah, Riyadh.
The operation included transporting 82 champions from 11 countries, arriving from some of the world’s strongest racing circuits, led by the legendary champion Forever Young, who was crowned— for the second consecutive year—with the world’s most valuable cup. Other notable horses included Nevada Beach, Bishop’s Bay, First Class, Very Connected, Imagination, Lazzat, and Reef Runner, through specialized logistical arrangements covering regulatory and operational aspects to ensure the horses’ safety and comfort throughout the journey.
The horses arrived onboard cargo aircraft equipped with dedicated cabins and routes, providing a safe and suitable environment during transport using highly efficient technology.
This achievement comes as an extension of the strategic agreement between the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia and SPL Group—represented by its logistics arm Naqel Express—as the exclusive logistics partner of the Saudi Cup, in a step aimed at developing and localizing horse-transport services in line with the highest international standards.
The experience reaffirmed the Kingdom’s ability to organize major sporting events with high efficiency and reflects the professionalism of SPL Group, through its logistics arm Naqel Express, in managing specialized transportation operations.
