This accreditation, granted to SPL for the third time, recognizes its efforts in developing and implementing addressing practices in line with international best practices, contributing to improved geospatial data quality, processing and distribution efficiency, and more accurate and faster local and international shipment delivery.
The S42 standard is a leading international standard for postal address organization, supporting integration between global postal systems and facilitating cross-border e-commerce and logistics.

The operation included transporting 82 champions from 11 countries, arriving from some of the world’s strongest racing circuits, led by the legendary champion Forever Young, who was crowned— for the second consecutive year—with the world’s most valuable cup. Other notable horses included Nevada Beach, Bishop’s Bay, First Class, Very Connected, Imagination, Lazzat, and Reef Runner, through specialized logistical arrangements covering regulatory and operational aspects to ensure the horses’ safety and comfort throughout the journey.

The horses arrived onboard cargo aircraft equipped with dedicated cabins and routes, providing a safe and suitable environment during transport using highly efficient technology.

This achievement comes as an extension of the strategic agreement between the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia and SPL Group—represented by its logistics arm Naqel Express—as the exclusive logistics partner of the Saudi Cup, in a step aimed at developing and localizing horse-transport services in line with the highest international standards.

Saudi Post (SPL) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Riyadh Airports Company and Saudi Ground Services Company on the sidelines of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, held in Jeddah from November 9 to 12, 2025.

Saudi Post | SPL and Dammam Airports have signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at developing and enhancing logistics and postal services at King Fahd International Airport. This collaboration contributes to supporting the National Aviation Strategy, which stems from the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 to transform the Kingdom into a global logistics hub connecting three continents.

The agreement outlines the collaboration between SPL and Dammam Airports across several initiatives, most notably the investment in spaces within the cargo village and logistics services area at King Fahd International Airport to develop a modern logistics center based on the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. This center will enhance storage and processing capabilities and provide integrated solutions for express shipping and mail. At the forefront is the “Hajj and Umrah Parcels” service, which enables pilgrims to conveniently ship their belongings from Makkah and Madinah to destinations across the globe. This service reduces the burden of carrying luggage and offers a more comfortable and seamless Hajj experience.

To strengthen field operations during the season, SPL has deployed five specially equipped SPL GO mobile units, designed to provide fast and flexible logistics solutions in crowded areas of Makkah and Madinah. These mobile units ensure immediate service delivery and meet the needs of both pilgrims and participating entities at the right time and place. This readiness is further supported by a comprehensive fleet, including 62 delivery vehicles, 16 motorcycles, and 44 electric scooters to facilitate staff mobility within the holy sites. SPL has also activated 57 service outlets located in key areas across Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites, enhancing its ability to deliver services with high operational efficiency and full reliability throughout the season.

Among its specialized offerings, SPL highlights the “Official Mail” service, a key logistical enabler that ensures the secure and reliable transport of official documents between government entities. In support of the healthcare sector, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, SPL has allocated 35 refrigerated vehicles, 16 scooters, and 3 motorcycles for the transport of biological lab samples, blood units, and their derivatives. The Saudi flag symbolizes unity, justice, strength, and growth, reflecting its rich historical significance dating back to the founding of the Saudi state in 1139 AH (1727 AD).

Saudi Post | SPL and New Murabba Development Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at providing advanced logistical and geospatial services and enablers. The agreement was signed by Eng. Rayan Al-Sharef, Vice President of Government & Corporate Sales at SPL, and Eng. Isa Al-Munif, Head of Project Management Office & Stakeholders at The New Murabba Development Company.
The MoU includes delivering advanced geospatial analytics solutions, as well as providing a customized addressing system for business operations, which contributes to reinforcing The New Murabba’s identity with national addresses and improving the accuracy of geographic data to support logistical operations and facilitate site access with greater efficiency. It also enhances site accessibility by improving geographical data through adjustments to Google Maps, which contributes to better user experience, streamlined logistics operations, and improved delivery and pickup efficiency.
Additionally, the agreement covers the provision of logistical services such as Third-Party Logistics (3PL), mail room and parcel services, which help in delivering integrated logistics solutions. The MoU also envisions expanding the network of postal parcel stations to support the services offered and improve the customer experience.
It is worth noting that The New Murabba is working to create a state-of-the-art downtown in Riyadh with global standards, where innovation and technology are combined with nature and sustainability. This effort contributes to the capital’s growth, improves the quality of life for its residents, and underscores the Kingdom’s leadership in urban development and sustainable growth.
